Stage access from below

The theatre’s design allows for stage access from below (through the floor) and therefore enables plays that combine traditional string puppets as well as hand puppets. This type of play can be achieved by using the lower plexiglass scenes or the lower perspective (floor) scenes that have a floor opening.

The theatre set can be positioned between two tables, thus allowing complete stage access from below or it can be moved backwards (till the groove of the rear, plexiglass scene) behind the edge of the table. The stage access from below combined with a non-transparency of the lower set scene is a new feature among portable puppet theatres.
